BOSTON MOTORHOME RENTAL   Located on the banks of the Charles River and the Atlantic Ocean, Boston offers many historic sights; best seen by walking the Freedom Trail from downtown at Boston Common to the Charles River. Massachusetts offers a bounty of scenic drives, especially during fall foliage. Travel along the Mohawk Trail with scenic views of the Berkshire mountain and quaint New England villages. Or choose the rocky coastline north of Boston, punctuated with long sandy beaches, rugged fishing ports, and sparkling sailing harbors. Another idea is to travel from Cape Cod Bay and up the Outer Beach along the Atlantic Ocean to Provincetown. Rental Details: Additional Rental Items Lawn chairs $7, Child Seat $35, Toaster $5 2 Mountain Bikes & Carrier $125, 4 Mountain Bikes and Carrier $220 Preparation Fee There is a preparation charge of $135.00 / $185.00 on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays from April 01 - Sept 30. This includes transfers to and from designated airport area hotels, vehicle preparation (including first supply of propane and toilet chemicals). Convenience Kit Convenience kits are charged at $65 per person, max $225. Our convenience kit includes dishes, cookware, pillows, linen, towels, sleeping bags and cleaning equipment. For a detailed list of our convenience kits items, please contact us. Extra Km $0.32 per mile / 20 - 25 ft RV $0.35 per mile / 27 - 32 ft. RV 100, 160 and 200 free miles per day on request Pick Up and Return Time Monday through Saturday, Closed on Sundays Check-in or pick-up is from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Monday to Friday 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, no transfer for afternoon pick up (please call our office two days prior to schedule a pick up time) Check-out or drop-off is from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM Cleaning We are very proud of the condition we keep our vehicles in (only non-smoking units). To avoid extra charges, please return vehicle clean inside and outside. $25 will be charged if holding tanks are not returned empty. $150 cleaning deposit is processed at time of rental and refunded up on return of clean unit. Smoking Policy Our vehicles are smoke-free. If you choose to smoke, additional cleaning charges may apply. Pets Small pets are allowed at owner's responsibility. An additional deposit of $1000 is charged at time of pick up as well as a cleaning fee of $150 at the time of drop off. Driving License/Driver's Age All drivers must possess a driver's license valid for the entire rental period An international driver's license is recommended for foreign tourists Minimum age is 21. Maximum age 75 years old. Additional Driver Fee please enquire Travel Restricted Areas Vehicles are not permitted to enter Mexico without prior authorization. Travel to Death Valley is limited to the low season (01 October through 30 April) due to extremely high temperatures which can cause system failures. No vehicles are allowed onto non-public logging/forestry roads, city of New York, greater metropolitan areas of Montreal and Quebec City. Guests assume all responsibility for any expense or loss of time while traveling in restricted areas. Northern Surcharge There is a surcharge of $450 to travel to Alaska, Northwest Territories and Yukon. Vehicles for northern travel must be expressly requested and confirmed at the time of reservation. Customers who travel to these areas without permission will be subject to a penalty and will void all insurance coverage. We reserve the right to restrict driving access at anytime. These restrictions may be applied at the time of pick-up. One-way Rental Fees One-way rentals must be reserved and confirmed in advance. Fees on request. Storage Free storage of luggage and airline tickets is available. All storage is at Renter's risk. Security Deposit Rentals require a security deposit of $1000 ($300.00 with VIP) An open credit card authorization is taken at departure for all rentals Security deposits must be made by credit card and are processed Deposits are refunded when the vehicle is returned complete with all equipment in a clean and undamaged condition Repairs/Maintenance Responsibility Our fleet of vehicles is in top mechanical condition. In the unlikely event that a mechanical failure occurs, guests are authorized to proceed with the necessary repairs up to $100. For expenses over $100, guests must telephone the rental station for authorization before proceeding with repairs. Replacement parts must be returned to the rental station for reimbursement. Guests assume full responsibility for damage to tires and undercarriage. Oil, tire pressure and coolant must be checked at each refueling. Costs for oil will be refunded upon presentation of receipts. The company's responsibility is limited to the refund of the daily gross rate, or portion thereof, if the breakdown repair is longer than 48 hours. Insurance Terms Included in the rental rates is an CDW insurance with $3 million third party public liability. In the event of loss or damage to the vehicle, whether or not due to the fault of the renter, the renter's responsibility is limited to a maximum of $5000 per occurrence. VIP: $18 per day. It reduces the deductibel in case of an accident to $300/$500. In addition it also overs incurred expenses of up to the daily rental rate for the period and size booked in the event of a mechanial breakdown of the vehicle whichih requires mor than 12 hours to repair. Guests assume full responsibility for damage to tires and undercarriage. Oil, tire pressure and coolant must be checked at each refueling. Costs for oil will be refunded upon presentation of receipts. Complete insurance details are available on request and at time of pick up. |
